At the risk of sounding redundant...
I find myself watching, or scanning rather, the YT reviews at least 3 times a week. Lately it's become pretty obvious that the 'big names' receive new products for reviews some weeks earlier than the official release date.

That being said, my favourite reviewers are Martyn Parker and Richard Ng and Ray Lo Vapes. Really unpretentious, unlike all the others.

If that's the truth, tell me: Am I lying?

My experience with YT reviewers so far:

Google search the gear I'm interested in
Click on Videos
Turn off volume
Click on random video
Fast forward 5min till fucker shows the damn gear
Watch the gear all angles for 10sec
Close YT

Forgot to mention him but I don't know how many here understand German.

And yes, we need reviewers but not the sort of reviewers that just want loads of free stuff, which is the vast majority, sadly.

I watch Richard Ng. I know his vids are single sided because he gets free gear and never says anything bad about anything he reviews. But his Video quality is great and his voice is good on the ears. Plus.. The Jimi Hendrix poster in his background is pretty boss..

PBusardo is the only one I can watch (but not the entire hour). I hated this suckmymod guy but he got a lot better. In the end I don't give a lot what they say, I just want to see closeups of the gear

When I first started I watched a lot of videos with crazy builds and coils and shit and I would try em out.

Now I don't watch any videos because I realized all you really need is wire wrapped around a screwdriver with cotton pushed through it.
